In Vinnytsia region, a 50-year-old man shot teenagers with a pistol

In the village of Serebryntsi, Mogilev-Podilskyi district, law enforcement officers detained a 50-year-old man who shot at two local residents — a 15-year-old boy and his 18-year-old friend.

On August 23, the police received an anonymous tip along with a video recording showing an unknown person firing shots from a weapon-like object at teenagers.

Law enforcement officers identified the attacker and seized an object that looked like an air gun from him. Fortunately, the boys were not injured.

The man has already been charged under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). He faces up to seven years in prison.

Investigators are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident.
