An unusual incident occurred in the resort town of Yaremche when representatives of the territorial recruitment and social support center (TCS) took away the driver of a regular bus carrying 50 people from the Poltava region. This was reported to Suspilny by one of the tourists who was on the bus at the time of the incident.
In the resort town of Yaremche, the tourist information center took away the driver of a regular bus carrying 50 people from the Poltava region, one of the tourists told Suspilny.
There were also eight children on the bus.
"The driver stopped not far from the gas station. While people went to eat and use the toilet, the police arrived together with employees of the Nadvirna District CCC. The driver was put in a car with documents, bus keys, and money for fuel and taken away. All the people remained on the street. The departure to Poltava was supposed to be tomorrow morning. The driver was accompanied by his 14-year-old son, who was now left alone because his father had been taken away. The child tried to call his father, but he only told him that he was undergoing a medical examination in Frankivsk in a hospital," Yulia said.
The presiding officer of the Ivano-Frankivsk CCC and SP Dmytro Boykanyuk refused to comment on the incident. According to lawyers, the police and CCC had no reason to detain the driver and take him away from his workplace and are dragging him to illegal imprisonment.
A second driver will take people back, although the instructions prohibit this: two drivers must travel such a distance.
