The situation on the front remains tense, as evidenced by the latest data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the day, 96 combat clashes have occurred, almost a third of which are in the Kurakhiv direction, where the enemy carried out 30 attacks.
The situation on the front line remains difficult. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are focusing their efforts on disrupting the offensive plans of the Russian aggressor and destroying its personnel and equipment. In total, 96 combat clashes have already taken place since the beginning of the day. The largest number of battles was recorded in the Kurakhiv direction
According to the General Staff, the situation by direction is as follows:
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully stormed the positions of our units in the area of Vovchansk and Starytsia.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 18 times in the area of Kucherivka, Novoosynovo, Hrushivka, Pishchane, Hlushkivka, Lozova, Kruglyakivka and Vyshneve. 11 clashes are still ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold their defenses steadfastly.
With the support of assault aircraft in the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevsky, Zarechny, and Torske.
Nine clashes have ended, four more are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, units of the Defense Forces repelled two attacks by Russian invaders near Kalynivka and Predtechyny.
In the Toretsk direction, there were seven enemy attacks in the area of Toretsk, Dachny and Shcherbinivka. Ukrainian soldiers stopped all of them. The aggressor is mainly concentrating its efforts on Toretsk, actively using bomber aircraft.
In the Pokrovsky direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have made 14 attempts to push our defenders from the occupied positions in the areas of Novotroitsky, Myrolyubivka, Promen, Krasny Yar, Selydovy and Kruty Yar. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have repelled 11 enemy attacks, three clashes are still ongoing. At the same time, enemy aircraft bombed the settlement of Sukha Balka, dropping three guided bombs.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the invaders attacked 30 times in the direction of Kreminna Balka, Novodmytrivka, Tsukuryne, Novoselidivka, Georgiivka, Kostyantynivka, Antonivka, and Katerynivka. Sixteen attempts by the invaders to advance have already been repulsed.
In the Vremiv direction, one clash occurred near Razdolne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupation troops attacked in vain near Malaya Tokmachka.
Once the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders in the Dnieper direction.
Today, the communities of Obody and Basivka were hit by enemy artillery and mortar fire in Sumy Oblast ; in addition, Russians carried out airstrikes with KABs on the Tovstodubovye, Svarkovye, and Yunakivka districts.
"The operation in the Kursk region is ongoing. Enemy aviation continues to strike with guided bombs on its territory. Currently, five air strikes using eight KABs are known," the General Staff reported.
