Actress Iryna Kudashova shared details of her life off-screen. She spoke about the condition of her apartment in Chernihiv, which was damaged by rocket fire last year, and also frankly admitted why she recently broke up with her boyfriend, who is ten years older than her.
OBOZ.UA spoke with Iryna Kudashova during the premiere of the first Ukrainian zombie horror film "Kakhovsky Object", where the actress played one of the roles. She noted that she had not yet seen the film in its entirety, which is why she was excited, because the role was very important to her - she played a zombie with her own story, motives and emotions. In addition, this is the first Ukrainian film in this genre, and the actress hopes that it will turn out to be exciting.
Iryna also talked about her career during the war. She noted that Ukrainian projects continue to be filmed, although the fees are now much lower than before the war. For her, the opportunity to work and engage in her favorite profession is more important than the financial aspect. The actress, originally from Chernihiv, currently lives in Kyiv in a rented apartment and supports herself through acting and blogging, including advertising contracts.
Last year, during enemy shelling, Iryna's parents' apartment in Chernihiv was damaged: all the windows were broken, the balcony was significantly damaged. The family applied for state aid to restore the house, but currently no restoration work is underway. The actress explained that the matter is not about payments from the state, but about the fact that her mother and grandmother are abroad and cannot return yet.
Regarding her personal life, Irina admitted that she broke up with her boyfriend, who was ten years older. The breakup was by mutual consent, as they realized that they were very different, and it was difficult to continue building a relationship. Despite this, they remained friends, and the actress's heart is currently free.
