Professor Iryna Farion of Lviv Polytechnic was reinstated in her position. This information was reported by the Ukrainian language department of the Lviv Polytechnic National University.
In their message, there is a greeting for Farion: "We sincerely congratulate the passionate linguist, devoted nationalist and brave Irina Farion on her return to our cathedral family! Let's say it again: from book to book, from goal to goal, from victory to victory!"
It is worth mentioning that Farion lost the court dispute about the reinstatement of the professor of the Ukrainian language department of the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Lviv Polytechnic National University. The court considers manifestations of intolerance towards military personnel inadmissible.
It is noted that Farion does not have a direct connection with the military service, and therefore the issue of language is decided by military personnel and their leaders independently.
After Farion was dismissed from her post at Lviv University, the Security Service of Ukraine initiated criminal proceedings because of her statements and publications. However, later the court decided to reinstate Iryna Farion in her position and collect her salary for the period of forced absence - in the amount of 123 thousand 927 hryvnias.
