A year has passed since singer Jamala became a mother for the third time. In May 2024, she gave birth to a son, Alim-Seit Bekir, from her husband, Bekir Suleymanov. During her pregnancy, the artist gained about 20 kilograms, but today she returns to the stage in great shape - and she did not sit on any strict diet.
After a big solo concert in Kyiv, Jamala gave an interview to the "Star Tour" project and frankly told how she recovered physically after her third birth. In response to the host's question about what exactly helped her get back in shape, the singer noted: no radical restrictions or self-torture, only a comprehensive and natural approach.
"I haven't completely returned to my shape yet, but I really count calories. At the same time, I try to eat whatever I want. And sports - yoga, Pilates. At the beginning - breathing, because I had to work out all this with diastasis and all that stuff," the artist explained.
In her opinion, women should not rush and pressure themselves to lose weight immediately after giving birth. Jamala emphasized that the body needs to be given time and care - then the changes will occur naturally.
"I'm actually very glad that it's like this for me - without fuss. Because sometimes women really just get carried away. They don't even want to hear about children just because they're getting fat. This is bullshit. Don't listen to anyone. Well, she got fat - she lost weight. That's it," the star shared.
Jamala now combines her creative work with raising three sons: Emir-Rahman (2018), Selim-Giray (2020), and Alim-Seit Bekir (2024). Despite her busy schedule, she finds time for training, walks with her children, and relaxation.
Her story is not only an example of regaining physical fitness, but also an emphasis on mental balance, self-acceptance, and sincere love for motherhood.
