Today, Ukraine will experience a slight warming, but weather conditions will remain varied in different regions. Forecasters predict snow in the east and north of the country, and rain is possible in several regions. Night temperatures will remain low, creating conditions for ice.

In most regions of the country, daytime thermometers will show +2…+3 °C, and in the southern regions it will warm up to +4…+5 °C.
At the same time, frost will persist at night. In the eastern regions, -8 °C is forecast, and in other regions the temperature will drop to -6 °C.
Forecasters warn that snowfall is possible in the eastern and northern regions. In particular, precipitation is expected in Kharkiv, Poltava, Cherkasy and Kropyvnytsky regions, where rain will fall during the day. In the western, central and southern regions, precipitation is unlikely on January 15, dry weather is promised.
Weather in Kyiv and the region
In the Kyiv region on Wednesday, January 15, in the afternoon there will be light snow with rain in places. The air in the region will warm up to +3°C at most.

“Weather forecast for January 15 for the Kyiv region. Cloudy, no precipitation at night, light snow with rain in places during the day. There is ice on the roads in some places. Temperature at night 1-6°C below zero, during the day from 2°C below zero to 3°C above zero; in Kyiv at night 1-3°C below zero, during the day about 0°C,” the Ukrhydrometeorological Center said in a statement.
