if there are many cones on the Christmas trees, there will be a harvest of cucumbers;
-
late flowering of mountain ash - until late autumn;
-
if a nightingale sings - to hot weather;
-
Sickle-winged martins and swallows fly low - it will rain.
What can't be done today?
Folk tradition prohibits on June 2:
-
visit the cemetery;
-
borrow money or personal belongings;
-
buy expensive things;
-
to envy someone else's happiness.
Believers are advised to devote time to prayer, especially to the Kyiv-Bratsk Icon of the Virgin Mary, asking for peace and protection for the family.
