The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine did not meet the deadlines for the development of the draft law on demobilization, which caused criticism from people's deputies. People's deputy Inna Sovsun stated this in her address to the government.
According to her, on April 11, the Council adopted a resolution instructing the draft law on demobilization to be developed within eight months. This term expired last Wednesday.
Since then, the government has not presented any such draft law.
We will remind you that the norm on demobilization was deleted from the law on strengthening army recruitment adopted in the spring (in the initial version there was a norm on demobilization after 3 years of service in wartime) - promising to develop a separate draft law instead.
Later, the "Servant of the People" made it clear that the refusal to demobilize was a demand of the West.
