The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to pay monetary rewards for athletes who will take 4-6 places at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. This is an important step to support Ukrainian athletes who represent the country on the international stage.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports is instructed to pay in 2024 awards to athletes who took fourth to sixth place at the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games, held July 26 to August 11, 2024 in Paris (French Republic), and their coaches in the following amounts: fourth first place - 250,000 hryvnias, fifth place - 200,000 hryvnias, sixth place - 150,000 hryvnias
According to the Ministry of Youth Sports, 29 Ukrainian athletes took fourth to sixth place at the Games. They received diplomas from the International Olympic Committee.
Ukraine won 12 medals at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Three gold awards were the best result of the country in the last 12 years at the level of the Olympics.
