Cabinet closed the "window" for evasion: drivers of humanitarian cargoes no longer leave uncontrolled

Since February 27, the military who carry humanitarian and medical cargoes, no longer need to go abroad on simplified conditions. From now on, they cross the state border on a general basis. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine (SPSU).

"From now on, during the legal regime of martial law, the pass through the border of Ukrainian citizens aged 18 to 60 years of age, which carry medical goods, humanitarian aid, will be carried out on a general basis," - the message reads.

The SSSU reminded that earlier the decision to depart for such categories of citizens was made by the Ministry of Community and Territories of Ukraine, or military administrations, but this norm is no longer in force.

From July 17, 2024, the presence of a military accounting document in paper or electronic form  at crossing the state border is obligatory for all men aged 18 to 60 years.

We will remind, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine since March 3, 2025 temporarily stops issuing letters of assistance for traveling abroad to military journalists and cultural figures. Such a decision will apply until the time of amendments to the normative legal acts governing the rules of crossing the border during martial law.
