Centus Centin Georgeska, known for his pro -Russian views, made a scandalous statement about Ukraine. The politician called Ukraine a "fictional state" and spoke for annexation and a section of its territories. His words caused a wave of indignation both in Romania and beyond.
In an interview with the Romania TV, the politician stated that in the event of his election president would stand for the "return" of the territories that are part of Ukraine. According to him, now the world is changing, so the borders will change. He is convinced that the division of a neighboring country will take place after peace talks:
"So, we have northern Bukovina, we have a Budzhak, we have northern Marmarosh from the former Transcarpathia, what is left of the Hungarians, Lviv, which will remain with the Poles, and Little Russia."
Georgezka added that the further fate of these territories will depend on how the relationship between the United States of America and the Russian Federation will develop.
“And then we will be able to benefit from what we can get, as Mikhai Eminescu (Romanian poet - UNIAN), from the Dniester to Tisza said. All these new borders that open to us in connection with Northern Bukovina, Budzhak, Northern Maramuresh, all this in our favor and in favor of NATO, ”he said.
Encroachment in the territory of Ukraine
We will remind, earlier the leader of the pro -Russian Bulgarian Party "Renaissance" Konstadin Kostadinov closed to take away the southern part of the Odessa region.
And the leader of the Hungarian far -right party "Mi Hazank" Laszlo Torotsky wanted to pick up the Transcarpathian region if Ukraine is defeated in the war.
