Quarantine in schools of the Kyiv region: where has the situation worsened the most?

In the Kyiv region, there is an increase in the number of cases of influenza and SARS. In the last week, the incidence rate increased by 39%, exceeding the epidemic threshold by +8%. This was announced on the official Facebook page of the Kyiv Regional State Administration.

The highest incidence rate was recorded in Boryspil district, while the lowest was recorded in Vyshgorod district.

Half of all patients are children, and compared to the previous week, morbidity among children increased by 44%.

In connection with this, quarantine was introduced in educational institutions of the Kyiv region. 33 schools switched to the distance education format, 18 of them in Boryspil district, as well as 7 each in Fastiv and Brovary districts.

It is worth noting that a similar increase in the incidence of influenza and SARS is also observed in Kyiv, but for now educational institutions in the capital continue to work as usual.
