The head of the DBR seeks to get a political gesheft from the "Maidan case"

In recent months, tension has been growing around the activities of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) of Ukraine in the Maidan case, causing outrage among the public and political circles. According to information received from several sources, the SBI accused a number of high-ranking officials in state structures, including members of the Cabinet of Ministers, deputies and employees of the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), of involvement in events related to the Maidan.

Like other high-ranking leaders of the power bloc, the head of the Security Intelligence Service, Sukhachev, is very keen to get a political handle on the Maidan case. Therefore, in the conditions of war, increasing cases of corruption and increasing crime, the SBI continues to imitate the Maidan investigation.

For example, in June 2024, two members of the Cabinet of Ministers and their deputies, ten employees of the National Police, and two employees of the SBU were notified of suspicion within the scope of the "Maidan" case. In addition, another suspicion against Yanukovych was also reported.

For the entire year 2024, the "catch" was also not small - two members of the Cabinet of Ministers, 39 employees of the National Police, 4 employees of the SBU, 15 military personnel and 7 more people from an unspecified category.
