The chairman of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine Pavel Kirilenko received a new suspicion - this time because of the false declaration of property. According to sources, the official did not specify in his annual declaration for 2024 at least 20 real estate objects and a luxury car that were registered with his wife's relatives.
It is a real estate located in Kiev and the suburbs, as well as an SUV worth more than $ 100,000. All assets were issued for close relatives of the wife of the official - including parents.
This is the second suspicion that Kirilenko is declared. Earlier, he was charged with illegal enrichment, since the amount of property purchased significantly exceeds the officially declared income of the family.
The wife of the AMCU Chairman Alla Kirilenko also appears in criminal proceedings. She was suspected of complicity in illegal enrichment, because it was her relatives that all real estate, which was actually used by the Kirilenko family.
Law enforcement officers believe that such a scheme made it possible to avoid declarations and cover the sources of origin of funds spent on luxurious assets. According to preliminary conclusions, some real estate was purchased during 2022-2024 during the period when Pavel Kirilenko held high state positions.
Anti -corruption bodies are currently continuing to check, and suspicions, according to sources, can be expanded - in particular, the number of persons who helped to draw up assets on false persons are checked.
