Early in the morning of May 10, Russian occupiers shelled the cities of Kharkiv and Dergachi in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv OVA, Oleg Synegubov, on the Telegram channel. “Kharkiv hears explosions. Be careful!”, Terekhov noted at 3:31.
It was later reported that the shelling caused damage in the residential area. “We have information about fires in private residential buildings,” the mayor emphasized.
“At 03:20 the occupiers struck the city of Kharkiv. A fire broke out in three private houses. 12 private residential buildings were previously damaged. Two people were injured: an 11-year-old child and a 72-year-old woman - acute stress reaction. Everywhere - exclusively civilian infrastructure and residential areas!”, added Synegubov.
It was also stated that the occupiers launched an attack on Dergachi, Kharkiv district. “Information has been received about one victim. A fire broke out at the site of the hit on a private house. Relevant services are eliminating the consequences,” added Synegubov regarding Dergachi.
