Prosecutor of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office Olga Veselovska refused to undergo a second medical examination - the decision of October 2, 2025 was recorded in the decision of the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of Prosecutors (QDCP). The second examination was ordered in connection with the investigation into the possible illegal registration of disability for officials through the local MSEK, which was previously headed by Tetyana Krupa.
Veselovska has been working in the prosecutor's office since 2005; since 2021, she has headed the department for representing the state's interests on land relations at the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office. According to the commission, in 2019 she obtained a disability group II and later extended it through the same local MSEK, which was headed by Krupa, a figure in the uncovered scheme for illegally obtaining disability.
After the case became public, the KDKP ordered Veselovska to undergo a second medical examination, but the requirement has not yet been fulfilled. The KDKP decision emphasizes that ignoring the examination discredits the prosecutor and harms the authority of the prosecutor's office. At the same time, Olga Veselovska herself objects to the commission's conclusions: she claims that the case concerns her personal behavior outside of work, the period of her disability has already expired, and she currently "does not consider herself a person with a disability."
The situation remains under the control of the KDKP and law enforcement agencies; failure to comply with the commission's orders may have disciplinary consequences, the department noted. No additional comments from the parties or new results of the re-examination have been received yet.
