Kyiv CHP-6 has effectively stopped its operation, sources report

According to our sources, as a result of the enemy attack on the capital on the night of October 10, Kyiv CHP-6 was almost completely put out of action.

Let us remind you that this night, the target of enemy strikes was civilian energy infrastructure.

CHP, HPP, TPP and transformers in various regions of Ukraine were attacked. According to DTEK, emergency outage schedules were introduced in the Kyiv region.

For reference:

Kyiv CHP No. 6 is the youngest in Ukraine. Its thermal capacity is 1,740 Gcal/h, and its electrical capacity is 500 MW, which allowed it to provide hot water and heat for housing and social facilities in five districts of Kyiv (Darnytskyi, Desnyanskyi, Obolonskyi, Podilskyi, Shevchenkivskyi).
