Last year, 3.1 million court cases were registered in Ukraine, which is slightly more than in 2023. About it reports approxabot with reference to the data of the State Judicial Administration. The number of criminal cases increased, while economic ones - on the contrary, decreased.
In 2023, the courts considered 332 thousand criminal cases, and in 2024 there were already 528 thousand-an increase of 1.6 times. Civil cases also increased from 982 thousand to 1 million (plus 7%).
At the same time, in the commercial courts the number of cases decreased by 14%, and in administrative - by 11%. The number of administrative offenses has decreased by 5%.
What is most often sued by Ukrainians
The most cases were considered by the courts in the field of civil law. Among them:

Communal debts - 298 thousand cases or 28% of all civilians;

Loans and loans - 126 thousand (12%);

Divorce - 120 thousand (11.5%).
Among the administrative cases are the leading pension issues:

Cases of dismissed from public service - 151 thousand (33.7%);

Pension insurance - 85 thousand (19%);

Benefits for "Chernobyl" - 22 thousand (5%).
In commercial courts most often consider:

Criminal proceedings - 7.3 thousand cases (12%);

Delivery of goods and services - 9.4%;

Energy - 7.6%.
Thus, according to the statistics of 2024, Ukrainians often go to court because of debts, divorces and pension disputes, and the total number of cases remains steadily high - more than three million a year.
