Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko visited the defenders on the front line in the area of the joint forces operation in Donbas and handed them important modern equipment - drones and electronic warfare (EW) systems.
Klitschko announced this on his official Facebook account.
“I visited our defenders in Donbas. I handed over 100 FPV drones to each unit of the Svoboda Battalion and the 28th OMBR named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. I also took three electronic warfare systems to the fighters, which are very necessary for the military in eastern Ukraine ,” the mayor wrote in his post.
According to Klitschko, it is important to support the Ukrainian military and provide them with modern and effective equipment that will help them conduct operations and protect the national territory .
The mayor also expressed gratitude to the defenders for their courage and dedication in the fight against the occupying forces.
“The situation at the front , but they are holding firm and continue to destroy the enemy and defend the Ukrainian land. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to its defenders!” Klitschko .
The commander of the Svoboda battalion, Petro Kuzyk, also expressed his gratitude to Vitali Klitschko and the people of Kyiv for their continued support.
“From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank Vitaliy Volodymyrovych and the community of Kyiv for their constant strong support. On the one hand, this is the combat capability of the battalion, and what is important to me is the lives of our soldiers,” Kuzyk emphasized.
