According to Lee, the timing of the transfer of units from the DPRK has already been determined - this is about August. South Korean intelligence is convinced that Russia is preparing a large -scale offensive operation against Ukraine, and the participation of the North Korean troops is coordinated in this context.
In exchange for participation in the North Korea war, military technologies will receive from Russia. In particular, it is about missile guidance systems, as well as assistance in launching satellites.
Such "Barter" is envisaged by a new pact on mutual defense, signed by Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong -in in June 2024 at the Russian Space Sport.
South Korean analysts report that the DPRK has already launched the mobilization of the military for the purpose of sending to the territory of the Russian Federation. According to the available data, one of the key members of the Security Council of Russia, who visited North Korea in May, involves the work on the plan.
North Korea already supplies artillery shells and rockets to Russia, and the Kremlin, in turn, helps Pyongyang modernize the military-industrial complex. Particular attention is paid to satellite technologies and rocket weapons that the DPRK has been actively tested in recent years.
The risk of direct participation of foreign military in the war against Ukraine is increasing. If the South Korean intelligence forecasts are confirmed, then the next weeks of the Russian Federation can help from the totalitarian regime of North Korea, which will significantly complicate the situation on the front.
