The bribery scandal with the participation of law enforcement agencies is gaining momentum: a pre -trial investigation into two former detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security (Bab) and the ex -investigative National Police of the Kyiv region has been completed. They are accused of attempting to get $ 150,000 from Vasyl Vorobtsy's head.
The involvement of the case were the extective Bab Artem Matsievsky and the former investigator Vladislav Bilykov. According to NABU, they pressed on the entrepreneur and demanded money in exchange for removal of arrests from the property of the company. At the same time, the case against Zagozakhid has been going on since 2021 - the company is suspected of illegally receiving state compensation.
Of particular interest is the person of the victim - Vasyl Vorobets, the son of the former head of the tax service of Ternopil region Yevgeny Vorobets. In 2020, the Security Service of Ukraine delayed both on suspicion of demanding $ 40,000.
Now Vasily Sparrow is a victim of pressure - detectives actually blackmailed him using his official position. The case was transferred to court. If the guilt of law enforcement officers proves, they are threatened with prolonged detention.
