Former Tyshchenko Restaurant "Velor" was put for sale for $ 1.5 million

The capital was put up for the sale of the Emerald Restaurant, which previously worked under the name "Velor" and belonged to the People's Deputy Mykola Tishchenko. An institution that became scandalously known during quarantine in 2020 can now be purchased for $ 1.5 million.

This was reported by the informant.

The restaurant is located in the heart of the capital, in a building on Pavel Skoropadsky Street, 43 (former Leo Tolstoy). The total area of the room is 526 square meters. The establishment has premium repairs, two spacious halls, summer terraces and three separate entrances (two from the facade and one of the yard). Inside the kitchen, bar counter, air conditioning, audio system and a specially designated place for DJ. One of the main features is a VIP room with a separate elevator and an accounting room.

The advertisement of sale appeared on February 6, 2025 on specialized sites. The description of the object emphasizes the high level of decoration, design interior and full premises for work. At the same time, there is no mention of the history of the restaurant or his connection with Mykola Tyshchenko.

The Velor Restaurant became widely known in April 2020, when journalists recorded that he continued to accept guests, despite harsh quarantine restrictions. At that time, politicians, businessmen and influential persons were noticed in the institution.

Tyshchenko himself denied that the restaurant is working as usual, claiming that the room is used for "personal meetings" and is even his "headquarters".

In July 2023, the institution changed its name to Emerald, after which the owners had rebranded, updated the interior and replaced the furniture. However, there is no official information about the change of the owner, so it is possible that the former "velor" is still related to Mykola Tishchenko.

We will remind, the military Dmitry Masoh, who is the victim in the case
