The former deputy mayor of the Dnieper on the activity of the executive bodies of the city council was informed of suspicion of introducing false data in the electronic declaration and illegal enrichment. The total value of the undeclared property is UAH 47 million and the amount of illegal enrichment is 8 million.
About it reports NAPC, and the pre -trial investigation in criminal proceedings is conducted by police of Dnipropetrovsk region for procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office. The reason for the suspicion were the results of a full verification of the declarations for 2022 and 2023, conducted by the NAPC.
The documents include a number of undeclared assets that are actually used by a former official, but who are decorated for his "former" wife. It is a real estate in Barcelona (three residential facilities and three warehouses), an apartment and commercial facilities in the Dnieper, land plots in Ivano-Frankivsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, a Lexus RX 350 car, as well as corporate rights in three Comrades.
The total value of this property exceeds UAH 23 million, of which more than 8 million are signs of illegal origin. The NACC found that the "former" wife began to actively buy real estate and other property immediately after the official divorce and after the appointment of her husband. For example, she purchased an apartment in Dnipro for UAH 4 million a month after divorce, not having confirmed legal sources of income.
The mayor is currently hiding abroad. He was made on the international wanted list. At the request of the prosecutor's office, he was chosen a pre -trial detention measure, and arrest was arrested on controversial property.
