The publication, citing sources, writes that Trump is really serious about achieving a truce on the first day of his presidency.
At the same time, the Trump team has not yet informed the Zelenskyi government of any potential plans.
The publication writes that Trump sees difficulties with Putin, not with Ukraine, since the Kremlin may not want to stop hostilities due to successes on the front and the presence of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region.
The TV channel reports that Trump's team is likely to reject Ukraine's long-standing goal of finally joining NATO. But some members of the alliance can offer Ukraine security guarantees.
