Today, Russian invaders again attacked the territory of Ukraine, using missiles and kamikaze drones. Air defense forces shot down 24 out of 25 UAVs.
This was announced by the Commander of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk.
It is noted that, in general, the occupiers launched across Ukraine this night:
cruise missile "Iskander-K" - from occupied Crimea in the direction of Kharkiv region,
anti-aircraft guided missile S-300 - from the occupied part of Donetsk region,
and 25 "Shakhed" - from Cape Chauda (occupied Crimea), Yeysk and Primorsko-Akhtarsky districts in Russian Federation
The general said that fighter jets, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled this airstrike, as well as radio-electronic warfare.
Oleschuk clarified that the attack drones destroyed the enemy on the territory of 8 regions.
"During the night, defenders of the sky shot down 24 "shahedas" in the Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Vinnytsia regions," said the commander of the Air Force.
