UAH 6.73 million, withdrawn in the 110th separate mechanized brigade (OMBR), was transferred to the ARMA. These funds were found during searches from officials who forced the military to share their combat payments.
The DBR investigation revealed that the team command had created a corruption scheme that allowed individual servicemen not to appear in service, but to receive salaries and combat payments. The subordinates were forced to give half of this money.
In December 2024, the Deputy Commander of the Brigade was suspected, and in January 2025-the commander of the material support group, which investigators consider him an accomplice.
The investigation is ongoing, and at least 50 people have already been in view of law enforcement officers who could be involved in the scheme.
The corruption scheme collapsed after one of the military appealed to Khmelnytsky law enforcement officers. He handed over a bag with a bribe, which he selected from the deputy commander - there was 1.5 million hryvnias in different currency inside.
During the search of his apartment in Zaporozhye, investigators found another 5 million hryvnias in cash. $ 17,000 was seized from his accomplice in the Dnieper. In total, over UAH 6.73 million was transferred to the ARMA accounts.
The court also seized the property of the deputy commander, who he had time to buy after the start of a full -scale invasion.
Among the arrested assets:
Elite apartment (60 square meters) near the sea in Odessa
an apartment (75 square meters) in Khmelnitsky
Mercedes-Benz Premium club
two land plots in Verkhovyna district (near Bukovel ")
bank accounts and securities for 4 million hryvnias
Expertise is currently underway to determine the real value of this property.
Investigators consider the possibility of additional notification of suspicion to the deputy commander for money laundering (Article 209 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
This case is another proof that even during the war, some officials do not neglect to make money on the military who are at risk of life.
