Ukrainian drone manufacturer “Fighting Birds of Ukraine” continues to strengthen its position in the international market. One of the largest Ukrainian companies specializing in the development and production of drones is now actively supporting the Estonian defense industry, concluding sponsorship agreements and partnership contracts with Estonian manufacturers and government agencies.
The main partners of "War Birds" include Roshen, Ukrenergo, Naftogaz, and the Serhiy Prytula Foundation. The owners are Yuriy Dobronravin and Dmytro Kovalchuk.
It is noteworthy that the company owns the corporate rights of the KraftLab company. One of its owners is Serhiy Vasylyovych Rudenko, whose name is in the database of corrupt officials. Rudenko previously worked as the director of the Roshen confectionery factory in Kyiv, which is one of the main partners in the Fighting Birds.
As it was established, the owners of "War Birds" - Dmitry Kovalchuk and Yuriy Dobronravin - are beneficiaries of the company "Fromet", registered in May 2024. The founder is the Estonian company Electric Wings Group. However, the beneficiaries of the latter are all the same Dmitry Kovalchuk and Yuriy Dobronravin. Arno Vaik is a member of the board - the CEO of the Estonian company Threod Systems, which produces drones.
It is known that his company's sales have tripled. The firm works closely with the Estonian Ministry of Defense. This is an important clarification, because Vaik himself has repeatedly stated the value of "every euro that comes into the Estonian defense industry, whether from abroad or from within, definitely strengthens our defense capabilities, as well as the Estonian economy.".
