In Ukraine, servicemen are assigned three main types of pensions: for years of service, disability and in connection with the loss of a breadwinner.
The retirement pension is available to those who have 25 years of service or insurance (at least 12.5 years in military service) or reached the age of 45 at the time of dismissal.
Disability pension is prescribed if the disability is due to injury, illness or accident during service.
The pension in the event of a breadwinner is paid to the families of dead or dead servicemen, as well as those who are missing at the front.
The size of pensions depends on the type:

for years of service - 50-70% of cash;

disability - 40–100% (depending on the disability group);

In case of loss of the breadwinner - 30-70% for each dependent.
Documents for retirement can be submitted through the authorized bodies or service centers of the Pension Fund.
The right to a military pension shall be retained even in the case of re -conscription.
