While Ukraine is at war, in Kiev quietly implement a scheme with the capture of communal land related to the odious Russian businessman Vagif Aliyev. Under the pretext of construction of the Pozniaky Mall shopping and entertainment center there is another attack on city property-this time under the cover of the mall.
The construction is scheduled for three hectares in Darnytskyi district, where the tenant is formally LLC "Energoplast". By March 2023, this company was recorded on Vagif Aliyev himself - the former consul of the Russian Federation, and now one of the most famous developers operating in Ukraine despite the war.
After the start of a full -scale invasion of Aliyev tried to replace the traces of Russian origin of business. The assets were reissued to the daughter - Marina Dorokhin, and Energoplast was rewritten to false persons. However, real control, according to sources in the real estate market, remained in the hands of the businessman himself. It is now negotiations to continue the lease of the site - including with representatives of the Kyiv City authorities.
The purpose of the land is not for commercial construction. However, the company has submitted documents to the KSCA with the intention to build a new shopping mall on the site.
Neither local authorities nor law enforcement agencies respond to obvious violations. Aliyev has perennial links with officials, including the mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, with which, according to sources, continues to maintain contacts.
We will remind, Aliyev was featured in numerous tax and land scandals, but this did not prevent him from maintaining control of the projects in the capital, including Lavina Mall, Blockbuster and Ocean Plaza.
