The conflict between the servicemen ended in a shootout

A tragic incident occurred in the Sumy region: a serviceman shot three of his comrades in the service. This was reported by sources in the law enforcement agencies.

According to preliminary data, the conflict between servicemen flared up during the performance of official duties. The causes of the conflict are currently being established, but it is known that the situation got out of control, which led to tragic consequences.

"The event happened yesterday evening. The soldier shot three soldiers with a machine gun, who died on the spot from their injuries, and then attempted suicide by shooting himself in the head. The man died in the hospital from his injuries," the source said.

Law enforcement officers are determining the reasons for the shooting. A criminal case has been initiated.
