On the night of April 17, an explosion during a conflict between the locals occurred in one of the settlements of the Peschansky community of Vinnytsia region. As a result, two men were injured. This was reported in the police of Vinnytsia region.
According to law enforcement officers, the incident happened at midnight. When finding out the relationship between several men, there was a fight during which an unknown item exploded.
“As a result of the explosion, two citizens, aged 48 and 50, were injured. One of them undergoes outpatient treatment, the other is hospitalized with a medical institution, ”police said.
An investigative team worked at the scene. The removed material evidence is directed for examination. Law enforcement officers are currently establishing the type and origin of the explosive object.
Police opened criminal proceedings. The guilty faces up to 7 years in prison.
Against the background of exacerbation of a security situation in the region, this is not the first incident associated with explosions. We will remind, earlier the SBU detained Russian intelligence agents who prepared terrorist attacks in Vinnitsa. The attackers planned to put explosives in a thermos and to blow up the military and the police.
The investigation into both cases is ongoing.
