In the Odessa region, a fight in a cafe turned into a real crime: a local resident went home after the conflict to get a gun, returned and injured three people. According to police, the man was detained and faces up to seven years in prison.
According to law enforcement, a cafe visitor, while in the company of a friend, began to provoke a conflict with other guests of the establishment. When the verbal altercation escalated into a fight, the man left the cafe, but soon returned with a smooth-bore rifle.

The attacker hit one man in the head with a rifle butt and shot two others in the legs. The victims, aged 32, 45 and 64, were treated at the hospital and released for outpatient treatment.
After the crime, the attacker fled in a car. However, police quickly located him and detained him near his home. The man's car, gun, and spent cartridges were seized, which will be sent for examination.
The attacker is accused of hooliganism with the use of a firearm. The issue of a preventive measure is being decided.
The suspect faces up to seven years in prison for the offense he committed. The investigation is ongoing under the leadership of the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Southern Region.
