In the Odesa region, a quarrel in a cafe turned into a real crime: after the conflict, a local resident went home to get a gun, returned and injured three people. According to the police, the man was detained and faces up to seven years in prison.
According to the law enforcement officers, the cafe visitor, being in the company of a friend, began to provoke a conflict with other guests of the establishment. When the verbal altercation escalated into a fight, the man left the cafe, only to return a short time later with a smooth-bore shotgun.
The attacker hit one man in the head with a butt, and shot two more in the legs. The victims, aged 32, 45 and 64, received medical assistance in the hospital, after which they were released for outpatient treatment.
After the crime, the attacker fled in a car. However, the police quickly located him and detained him near his home. The man's car, rifle and shell casings were seized, which will be sent for examination.
The attacker is accused of hooliganism with the use of firearms. The issue of a preventive measure is being resolved.
For the offense committed, the suspect faces up to seven years in prison. The investigation continues under the leadership of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Southern region.
