Dmytro Korchynskyi spoke about his radical ideas regarding the future of Ukraine in the conditions of war. In the program "Great Lviv Speaks", he stated that in order to save the nation, Ukraine should ban the departure of not only men, but also children.
Korchynskyi claims that Ukrainians should be transformed into a militant nation that will remain at war for a long time. According to him, citizens should give up many rights guaranteed by the Constitution and accept self-restraint. The politician is convinced that war should become a matter of inheritance, and children should be raised so that they are ready to take up arms and replace their dead parents.
"I don't know how many of us are left here in Ukraine. But in the name of the survival of the nation, it is necessary to ban the departure not only of men conscripted into the military, but also of children. I understand that many people find it easier to keep their children abroad while the war is going on. But we understand that those children will not return to Ukraine. They are not brought up by Ukrainians. They will not return, they will have no incentive to return to Ukraine," Korchynskyi believes.
Korchynsky argues his position by the fact that Ukrainians are now fighting not for democracy, but for the survival of the nation. He believes that this idea should become the basis of the entire way of life of Ukrainians. According to him, children who go abroad may not return to Ukraine, as they are not brought up in a Ukrainian environment and may lose contact with their homeland.
