Dmytro Korchinsky spoke about his radical ideas about the future of Ukraine in the conditions of war. In the program "Great Lviv Speaks", he stated that in order to preserve the nation, Ukraine should ban not only men, but also children from leaving.
Korchinsky argues that Ukrainians must transform into a warlike nation that will remain in a state of war for a long time. According to him, citizens must give up many rights guaranteed by the Constitution and accept self-restraint. The politician is convinced that war should become a hereditary affair, and children should be raised so that they are ready to take up arms and replace their dead parents.
"I don't know how many of us are left here in Ukraine. But in the name of the nation's survival, we must ban not only men who are conscripted for military service, but even the deportation of children. I understand that many people find it easier to keep their children abroad while the war is going on. But we understand that those children will not return to Ukraine. They are not being raised by Ukrainians. They will not return, they will have no incentive to return to Ukraine," Korchinsky believes.
Korchinsky argues his position by saying that Ukrainians are now fighting not for democracy, but for the survival of the nation. He believes that this idea should become the basis of the entire way of life of Ukrainians. According to him, children who go abroad may not return to Ukraine, since they are raised in a non-Ukrainian environment and may lose touch with their homeland.
