In the coming plenary weeks, the Verkhovna Rada may consider a number of personnel issues, as the government has several vacant positions. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Kornienko during a telethon.
Kornienko stressed readiness to make personnel decisions and expressed confidence that some of these issues could be resolved in the coming weeks. He pointed to the example of the rapid dismissal of Oleksandr Kubrakov, which, in his opinion, was not planned in detail.
The government vice-speaker also noted that some positions in the government have been filled temporarily for a long time, in particular in the areas of sports, culture, veterans and agriculture. According to him, the dismissal of Kubrakov was related to the need to form new ministries.
Regarding potential candidates for leadership positions in the newly created ministries, Kornienko noted that there are currently no specific candidates, but this issue may be resolved in the near future when the monomajority submits its proposals, which will be considered by the government and the Verkhovna Rada.
