Corruption in the TCC is the main problem, say the military

The reform of territorial procurement centers (TCC), which became the subject of discussion among Ukrainian deputies, will not bring significant changes at the front.

This opinion was expressed by military expert Serhiy Grabskyi on the air of "Radio NV". According to him, the reorganization of the TCC and the transfer of workers to the front will not solve the main problems in the military sphere.

"We already played populism once, when we photographed all the heads of the TCC. Did this fix the situation? No, it didn't fix it," said Grabskyi. According to him, already at the beginning of the mobilization, employees of the TCC began to be sent from the front, and this, according to the expert, did not bring significant results.

The military expert emphasized that regardless of how we will rename the supply centers or recruiting services, mobilization is currently necessary to support the army.

"In the conditions of war, there is no alternative to mobilization in Ukraine," said Grabskyi. He added that the state will have to use tougher methods to provide the army with human resources, since populist statements, such as the reform of the TCC, cannot change the situation at the front.

Previously, deputy Yuliya Yatsyk suggested disbanding the TCC and creating 10 new brigades from the employees of these centers in order to improve the situation in the army. However, this initiative caused sharp criticism, in particular from the 3rd separate assault brigade. Deputy brigade commander Maksym Zhorin called these proposals "empty populism" that is not worth discussing. He considers corruption to be the main problem of the TCC and SP, which must be dealt with first of all.
