A cosmetologist in Kharkiv was informed of a suspected murder of a female patient

In Kharkiv, investigators reported suspicion of a beautician who, according to the police, killed her patient out of carelessness. The incident happened on March 16, when a woman came to a beauty salon for a laser lipolysis procedure.

According to the investigators, the beautician did not conduct the necessary pre-procedure studies, did not determine the client's body weight, and did not calculate the dose of anesthetic. Without conducting allergy tests and special laboratory tests, she began the procedure, as a result of which she gave the woman about 20 injections. This amount exceeded the recommended concentration of the drug in the solution by at least 15 times.

Unfortunately, the patient died on the way to the hospital, which was a shocking end to the botched procedure.

The investigation qualified the cosmetologist's actions as a homicide due to carelessness. According to Ukrainian legislation, such an offense is punishable by imprisonment for up to five years.
