Ukrainian singer Jamal reported the theft of a landmark costume in which she performed at the Eurovision 2016 song contest and won.
The artist told about it when communicating with Instagram subscribers. In response to the question of preserving the legendary stage attire, Jamal wrote: "Unfortunately, I was abducted." The singer did not provide more details.
The costume in which Jamal performed the song "1944" in the final of the competition in Stockholm, became an important part of its victorious image. It was created within the framework of a special design project with a fashion designer Ivan Frolov - founder of the Frolov brand.
The designer described the work as "monumental, restrained and harsh" that corresponded to the content of the song. The main focus was on branded lace pants, which became a significant element of the costume.
Now the singer does not inform when and under what circumstances the suit disappeared. However, the news has already caused resonance among fans and fans of fashion, because the stage image of Jamala is considered one of the most recognizable in the history of Ukraine's participation in Eurovision.
