The "Servant of the People" party once again came under criticism due to inaction regarding two of its representatives who were at the center of scandals. We are talking about the citizens of Israel Oleksandr Kunytskyi and Roman Kravets, who, despite the obvious violations, continue to remain in their positions.
Kunytskyi, who is a sitting MP from the party, has recently been at the center of a scandal over his citizenship, which calls into question his eligibility. However, despite all the attempts to expose and contradict, "Servant of the People" is in no hurry to deprive him of his mandate, although this could be done at the stage of registration. The issue of recalling him is actually complicated by his majority status, which complicates legal procedures.
Another vivid example is Roman Kravets, who, according to investigative journalists, recently fled abroad after he was exposed for obtaining a false VLK certificate to evade mobilization. Kravets, known as the administrator of the stolen Telegram channel "Joker", continues to remain a candidate for people's deputies, although all that is required to withdraw him is to submit an extract from the minutes to the Central Committee. But even his party does not do this.
Why are they not active in the "Servant of the People" and the Office of the President? There are opinions that Kravets may have some compromising material that allows him to manipulate the situation. Either he has connections with the leaders of the party, in particular with Davyd Arakhamia, or, according to unofficial rumors, even with Andriy Borisovych himself. Blackmail or agreements with senior managers may be the reason why "servants" are in no hurry to say goodbye to the swindler.
This case raises questions about the moral and ethical standards of the party in power, especially in times of war, when the issue of mobilization and defense capabilities of the country is on the agenda. Is "Servant of the People" ready to finally get rid of fraudsters, or will it continue to cover its own? Time will tell.
