Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba announced his intention to establish contacts with the new Polish government at various levels in order to resolve existing problems in the relations between the two countries. During a live broadcast on Instagram with journalist Vadym Karpiak, he noted that the history of relations is complicated, but noted Poland's willingness to solve problems.
Kuleba mentioned the visit of Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski to Kyiv and his meeting with the President of Ukraine on December 22, during which signals from the new Polish government were conveyed and Warsaw's vision for solving existing problems was expressed.
The minister emphasized that after that contacts with the new Polish government will be continued at various levels, and although he refrained from specifics, he noted that meetings are already planned. Kuleba expressed confidence in solving the problems and emphasized that the victory of Ukraine is a vital interest for Poland, which also determines the survival of the latter.
