Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba expressed indignation over the loss of positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front and put forward a proposal to install air defense systems on the front line.
“It is necessary to clarify the reasons for the losses of Ukrainian troops at the front,” Kuleba emphasized.
He explained that such losses were made possible by Russia's massive use of modernized aviation guided bombs. Kuleba noted that these bombs pose an extreme threat, since it is impossible to turn away from their strike when they are intended as a target.
“We won’t be able to shoot them down. They will just land and cause destruction. This leads to loss of positions, and the only way to avoid this is to take responsibility for shooting down the planes carrying these bombs,” he stressed.
Kuleba called for air defense systems to be installed on the front lines to protect against such threats.
