In the capital, the implementation of the pilot project "apartment for IDPs", which provides for temporary provision of housing of internally displaced persons in apartments, which were arrested and transferred to the management of the state. The initiative is being implemented by the National Assets Investigation and Management Agency (ARMA) together with the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA).
In the initial stage, 10 residential facilities in Kiev were prepared, which will be transferred in the near future for settlement. These are people who have lost their homes as a result of a full -scale war and are looking for temporary shelter in the capital.
In the future, it is planned to scale a project to other regions of Ukraine and to form a transparent model of management of such housing in order to make the process system and long -term.
“We went from the pilot launch to the full implementation of the project. During the war, the arrested property must work for a state and people who have lost their home, ”the ARMA said.
The coordination of mechanisms, in particular the competitive selection of residential real estate managers, concluding contracts, as well as regulating the issues of accommodation for accommodation, is currently underway.
This project was the first socially oriented case in the framework of ARMA and KMVA cooperation. The Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine also joined its implementation. In general, within the initiative, they plan to transfer up to 200 apartments all over Ukraine for the needs of internally displaced persons.
