The former deputy head of the anti-smuggling department of the Transcarpathian customs, Ayder Ablyazimov, who was dismissed after a Russian passport was found on him, wants to return to his position through the court.
Thus, according to journalist Vitaliy Glagola, a dismissed Transcarpathian customs officer with a Russian passport, Ayder Ablyazimov, filed a lawsuit with the Kyiv District Administrative Court, with the intention of overturning the decision on his dismissal, reinstating his position, and receiving salary for "forced absenteeism."
Currently, the Kyiv District Administrative Court has opened proceedings on Ablyazimov's lawsuit. The SBU Department in the Transcarpathian region has been involved as a third party.
Given the fact that the case will be considered in a simplified procedure without summoning the parties, Ayder Ablyazimov has every chance of returning to the position of head of the anti-smuggling department of the Transcarpathian customs, despite the fact that he has a Russian passport.
As our sources in the judicial system report, the involvement of the SBU Department in the Transcarpathian region in the "scheme to reinstate Ayder Ablyazimov" as a third party is most likely related to procedural issues.
In particular, Ablyazimov's lawyers could send a request to the Transcarpathian SBU about whether Ablyazimov has a passport from the aggressor country and receive a response that “the SBU Department in the Transcarpathian region does not have such information.” And with a “certificate from the SBU” and, probably, a bribe for the judge, a decision will be made to reinstate Ayder Ablyazimov in his position.
As a reminder, Ayder Ablyazimov was dismissed from his post by order dated June 4, 2025 after journalist Vitaly Glagola published a photo of his valid Russian passport, obtained after 2014.
