Kyiv earned UAH 74 million from parking fines

In Kyiv, over 230,000 drivers received fines for parking violations in 2024. These fines brought UAH 74.1 million to the city budget. This was made possible thanks to the decisive measures of the city's Territorial Control Department, which is actively fighting traffic violations.

“Over 230,000 drivers were fined in 2024 for violating parking rules! To avoid unnecessary fines and hassle, park responsibly,” the department’s press service said in a statement. It also states that another 61.2 million hryvnias from parking fees went to the city budget.

In his comment, Deputy Director of the Department, Serhiy Dubenko, said that even in the first days of the new year, in particular on January 6, 72 resolutions were drawn up on Mikhailivska Square against drivers who tried to park their cars in prohibited places.

These events remind drivers of the importance of following parking rules to avoid unpleasant consequences and maintain order in the city.
