The Kyiv City Council has adopted a decision prohibiting the registration of municipal land plots to companies and individuals paying taxes in Russia, as well as those under sanctions. This important decision was initiated by the Vitaliy Klitschko UDAR faction, and the faction's co-chairman Dmytro Bilotserkovets announced its support by the Kyiv City Council.
"Those who pay taxes to the Russian budget must choose - to do business in Ukraine or in a terrorist country!" - emphasized Bilotserkovets, emphasizing that the decision is aimed at preventing support for the aggressor country through tax revenues.
From now on, any companies or individuals wishing to lease municipal land plots in Kyiv are required to provide the Department of Land Resources of the Kyiv City State Administration with letters of guarantee confirming the absence of direct or indirect control by Russian individuals or legal entities. If it turns out that such guarantees have been falsified, the right to use the land plots will be immediately canceled.
