Kyiv schools plan to continue in-person education despite the difficult situation in the energy sector

According to sources of the publication 360ua.news , the educational process in the capital's schools will be continued, despite the difficult situation in the energy sector.

In particular, according to the source, today the Kyiv City State Administration Education Department is to make a decision on the continuation of the educational process in Kyiv from February 2.

This decision of the capital's authorities, according to the source, is due to the fact that 97% of schools are already equipped with generators. Plus, by the end of the week, all schools must be equipped with heating "as critical infrastructure facilities.".

Schools will also be provided with maximum lighting. According to preliminary estimates, out of 290,000 schoolchildren, about 220,000 are expected to be in class every day.
