Kyiv honors the memory of the dead: a minute of silence in transport

Every day in Kyiv, public transport will stop for a minute of silence in memory of the fallen Ukrainians. This will take place between 08:50 and 09:00, according to the decision of the Kyiv City Council.

As stated in the announcement, bus, tram and trolleybus drivers will be required to turn on the announcement of a nationwide minute of silence when stopping at designated locations. This will occur immediately after the standard announcement of the current stop.

“After the minute of silence, drivers will resume normal traffic,” Kyivpastrans said.
