In Kiev, a woman who for six thousand dollars promised to organize a fictitious diagnosis of stroke was detained for six thousand dollars to release him from service. This was reported by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, the suspect learned that her acquaintance could not go abroad through the military, and offered him help. She assured that she had connections at the Metropolitan Municipal Hospital, where he could agree on a false diagnosis - in particular, the allegedly suffered stroke. It was to allow the man to go through the Military Medical Commission and be recognized as unusable.
The price of such service is $ 6,000. Law enforcement officers detained the woman after transferring the entire amount, fixing the fact of receiving the undue benefit.
She was suspected under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-providing an undue benefit for influencing the decision of an official combined with extortion.
The court chose a suspected preventive measure in the form of detention, with the possibility of bail. At the same time, investigators identify other persons who may be involved in this scheme.
We will remind, recently the prosecutor's office also brought to court a case of an organized group that for money helped men to register a fictitious paternity and travel abroad as "large parents". The cost of such "service" was $ 3,000.
