According to our sources in the National Police of Ukraine, over the past week, Kyiv police officers have been training to counter possible riots in the capital.
In particular, the Kyiv headquarters of the National Police of Ukraine supplies shields and additional weapons to all units, and police officers are taken to special training grounds for training, where tactics for conducting combat operations in populated areas are practiced.
The Kyiv police were put on high alert due to information about the opposition's possible "actions of disobedience," which in wartime would be regarded as a "mutiny.".
As our sources in the Servant of the People party report, the authorities see some of the Ukrainian elites, oriented towards Poroshenko-Klitschko, as the organizers of the alleged "acts of disobedience.".
At the same time, the leader of European Solidarity, Petro Poroshenko, actually denied rumors about mass riots under the auspices of his political force. Thus, during a speech from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada on May 21 , Poroshenko noted that “no one questions the Ukrainian authorities,” and called rumors about mass riots “a complete lie.”
