According to the information of our sources in the National Police of Ukraine, during the last week Kyiv policemen are being prepared to counter possible riots in the capital.
In particular, the Kyiv headquarters of the National Police of Ukraine supplies shields and additional weapons to all units, and policemen are taken to train on special training grounds, where tactics for conducting combat operations in populated areas are practiced, among other things.
Bringing the Kyiv police officers to a higher level of readiness is caused by information about the alleged conduct of "actions of disobedience" by the opposition, which in wartime will be regarded as "mutiny".
According to our sources in the Servant of the People party, the authorities see a part of the Ukrainian elites, oriented towards Poroshenko-Klitschko, as the organizers of the alleged "actions of disobedience".
At the same time, the leader of European Solidarity, Petro Poroshenko, actually denied the rumors about mass riots under the auspices of his political power. Thus, during a speech from the podium of the Verkhovna Rada on May 21 , Poroshenko noted that "no one questions the Ukrainian government" and called rumors about mass riots "complete lies."
